For this installation I had 2 days to make an immersive art installation at an Ethereal convention in a building in downtown Denver. I challenged myself to make use of all the packing waste from the convention.
For theming, I made some bespoke iconography-inspired Ethereum-themed collages; added some intense green lighting found in the convention’s storage closet. 300 billion staples later, and the unexpectedly popular “Live Better Ethereally Super Secret Bubble Wrap Room” was born. It was a place for EthDenver’s Hackers to de-stress (if they were curious enough to find it…there was no signage and the only thing that led there was a thin neon green tape line on the floor). The best part: the whole thing got recycled at the end of the convention…except for the staples, which live in the walls to this day.
